چکیده

• A 3D-printed polycarbonate-based transparent PHP was successfully fabricated. An aluminum plate bonded to the channel allows for better heat conduction. The enables flexible design and flow visualization. maximum effective thermal conductivity of 7.0 × 10 3 W/(m⋅K) obtained. To improve performance electronic devices, incorporating an cooling system in their is important. pulsating pipe (PHP) a passive device that efficiently transports as sensible latent from evaporator section condenser via oscillatory two-phase flow. In recent years, with progress additive manufacturing technology PHPs increased flexibility wider industrial applicability has been expected. optimize plastic structure practical uses, effects geometry regime on appropriate operating conditions need be clarified at higher input power. present study focuses visualization plastic-based having size configuration. Using manufacturing, serpentine fabricated polycarbonate. filled Novec 7000 working fluid, fill ratio fluid PHP’s transport were investigated. Based images, we evaluated pattern parameters such vapor-slug lengths, velocity, passing frequency, relationship between oscillating during operation.

Heat Transfer Characteristics in a Heat Exchanger for Turbulent Pulsating Water Flow with Different Amplitudes

The effect of pulsation on the heat transfer rates, for turbulent water stream with upstream pulsation of different amplitudes, in a double-pipe heat exchanger for both parallel and counter flows, with cold water on the shell side, was investigated. Pulsation frequencies, with using a reciprocating device, ranged up to 260 cycles per minute (up to 4.3 Hz) and 5 different displacement amplitudes...

Transient thermal performance analysis of micro heat pipes

A theoretical analysis of transient fluid flow and heat transfer in a triangular micro heat pipes (MHP) has been conducted to study the thermal response characteristics. By introducing the system identification theory, the quantitative evaluation of the MHP’s transient thermal performance is realized. The results indicate that the evaporation and condensation processes are both extended into th...
